Brandt is continuing to grow and expand our business and we are looking for hard-working, creative individuals to join our Engineering Team.  

We are currently seeking a Platform Team Lead for our Agricultural Products Division.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- The qualified candidate will have exceptional management skills with strong collaborative leadership skills that inspire and motivate multi-disciplinary teams in achieving a common goal.
- Strong technical skills are a prerequisite.
- Establish project plans including resource budgets and schedules.
- Ensure that engineering resources are available as required.
- Ensure that engineering projects are completed on time within budget.
- Manage the day to day activities of engineers and technologists.
- Efficiently track and communicate progress with all levels of management including   executives.
- Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, manufacturing, and customer service to ensure success of projects.  
- Assist in building a culture of high performance with focus on business co-operation and continuous improvement

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant Engineering Management experience.
- Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.(P.Eng or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in managing design projects.
- Proficient with commonly used engineering software.
- Experience managing technical projects, product launches in a high mix, low volume business.
- Direct knowledge with manufacturing / engineering methodologies.
- Proven track record in managing large project budgets.
- Practical experience with risk management and product testing.
- Ability to create and review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and design documents.
- Familiar with ERP systems and lean manufacturing.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
