We are looking for a loving individual to assist us with child care for our infant and may assist with light household duties. Care will be provided primarily in our home with the option to live-in as well.
PLEASE NOTE THAT LIVING IN IS OPTIONAL AND IS NOT A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.
Duties include:
Supervise and care for child
Bathe, dress and feed infant
Prepare formulas and change diapers
Assist with meal preparation
Oversee activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Tend to the emotional well-being of infant and support development
Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
Assist with taking infant to appointments and outings
Light housekeeping as needed
This is a full time permanent position for 2 years.
Experience with a newborn is an asset.
Benefits include: Health coverage equivalent to Provincial Health coverage until eligible for Provincial Health Card, fourteen days paid vacation, four days paid sick time and overtime rate and 1.5 x regular rate after 44 hours.
