Responsibilities:
-Answers phones and directs call.
-Provides requested parts to Technicians and makes suggestions on additional parts.
-Post parts on Karmak system.
-Reviews repair orders accuracy before final billing.
-Sell parts to customers: identifying parts needed, set prices & create invoices, billing out freight, collecting payment.
-Receives/stocks shelves in storage area & maintains internal counter area.
-Orders low stock through Karmak or ISIS systems.
-Participates in annual parts inventories
-Processes returned goods for credit
-Receives tagged parts from Technicians, matching tags, inspecting parts, and placing in designated area.
-Removes cores from repair order and returns to main branch.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Ideal qualifications:
-3 to 4 years in heavy-duty truck & trailer industry at parts or service counter, in order to identify parts and work independently
-Understanding of repair time length and how to process repair orders preferred
-Customer service focus & ability to build relationships
-Strong numbers orientation, attention to detail
-Organized, sets priorities, meets deadlines
-A team player, shows initiative, and a learner attitude
-Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn in-house systems
-Knowledge of Karmak business system preferred
-Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
-Forklift license or ability to achieve an asset
