Description

Amec Foster Wheeler E&Is Saskatoon and Regina offices are looking for talented Intermediate and Senior Geotechnical Engineers to join our Saskatchewan operation.

Key Responsibilities
Provide geotechnical engineering and project management for a wide variety of foundation, transportation, resource industry, land development, terrain and commercial/ industrial projects.
Includes:
Co-ordination of Field Investigations Programs;
Geotechnical modeling; such as Slope, Sigma and Seep/W;
Engineering Analysis;
Preparation of Technical Reports;
Proposal Preparation;
Provide guidance, training and mentoring for junior staff;
Development and maintenance of key client relationships;
Commitment to finding efficient, practical solutions within the spirit of innovative and technical excellence; and
Participation and collaboration with staff with different specialties and located both in your office and/or other offices on larger, multi-disciplinary assignments.

Requirements
University graduate with a degree in civil (geotechnical) or geological engineering; A Masters degree would be an asset;
A minimum of 10 years of practical engineering experience;
Eligible for registration as a P. Eng. with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan;
Practical geotechnical engineering experience relevant to a variety of projects (such as foundations, slope stability, transportation, civil municipal, commercial development, resource industries, utilities, building structures, etc.); Consulting experience within Canada is preferred;
Strong written and oral communication (English) skills;
Valid Drivers License; and
Desire to provide excellent practical client service and a commitment to technical excellence.
