2 RECREATION THERAPISTS
(Life Enhancement Guides)
As a member of the Life Enhancement Team, the therapists provides leadership to the neighbourhood in activities, assuring each neighbourhood's abilities to promote the psychosocial wellbeing of all residents and to plan and carry out interests and social activities for residents, creating a diversity of opportunities for meaningful pursuits, daily pleasures, recreation, exercise, friendships, social interaction, growth and learning, fun and enjoyment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Therapeutic Recreation Diploma
Recent Experience (1 year) in Therapeutic Recreation Program delivery
Creativity and enthusiasm in seeking opportunities for collaboration
Demonstrated commitment to resident directed philosophy is essential
