Temporary Social Worker    Based out of Moose Jaw

Hours of Work:  8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  
Start Date:  August 25, 2015
End Date:  June 30, 2016

Duties:
The School Social Worker helps individuals, families, groups, communities and organizations develop the skills and resources they need to enhance social functioning and provide counselling, therapy and referral to other supportive social services.

Qualifications:
A certificate in Social Work or equivalent post-secondary education in a related area from a provincially recognized institution as approved by the Board of Education is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the delivery of human services such as social work, health care, justice, counselling, addictions is required
Must be able to meet the criteria of a Social Worker pursuant to The Social Work Act and be a member in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A working knowledge of computers is required
A valid drivers licence is a requirement of the position.

Wage & Benefits:
In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Currently, this is a range of $37.39 to $45.45 per hour.
