Started in 1992, the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA) Inc. was one of the first independent economic development agencies in Canada. SREDA works with the City of Saskatoon, the surrounding rural communities and 200 private sector investors to grow the region's economy.
The organization is seeking a dynamic individual to assume the role of Specialist, Economic Forecasting & Analysis (S-EFA). Under the direction of the Senior Director, Economic Forecasting & Analysis (SD-EFA) this individual will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of SREDAs economic analysis and forecasting services.
Specialist, Economic Forecasting & Analysis will have responsibility for the following:
-Assisting the SD-EFA in the preparation of SREDAs Annual Economic Forecast and Quarterly Updates.
-Assisting the SD-EFA in the preparation of presentation material related to the SREDAs Annual Economic Forecast and Quarterly Updates.
-Assisting in the development of SREDA Insights reports to be used as a decision making tool by the City of Saskatoon and/or the local business community.
-Assisting in the preparation multi-media material to communicate key economic trends for the Saskatoon Region.
-Assisting in the development and delivery of the SREDA Economic Outlook Forums (2x per year)
-Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Economic Forecasting and Analysis.
