POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cameco is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join the operational services team at the worlds second largest high grade uranium deposit, located at the Cigar Lake operation in northern Saskatchewan.
Working with the site services group, you will perform general maintenance and repair of buildings throughout the site, assembly/disassembly of scaffolding both on surface and underground, repair and replacement of various maintenance requirements such as drywall repairs, painting, door locks and concrete work. You will perform other duties as required and requested. In addition, you will instruct and assist junior employees as required.
This is a temporary position for up to 12 months.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson carpenter and journeyperson scaffolder ticket
Valid class 5 drivers license
Three to five years of directly related trade experience in an industrial environment
Team player with good communication skills
Excellent safety record
Basic computer skills
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Valid first aid certification
