The Opportunity

Our Kindersley, SK location is looking for a Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher is responsible to coordinate incoming customer requests with the appropriate equipment and personnel for that equipment in a smooth and efficient manner, including establishing and maintaining good communication lines between all personnel required to provide the services of Clean Harbors.

Key Responsibilities

Take all phone calls for job requests in a professional and courteous manner;
Obtain all necessary information to send out properly equipped personnel and equipment;
Delegate job requests to qualified operator and assign laborers if required, including ensuring that all tools, fittings and hoses needed for the job are communicated to the operators;
Make sure that Daily Checklists and Truck Logs are complete and supported by invoices, and that all math is correct. Return for corrections if necessary;
Ensure all time slips are for the correct time. Return for corrections if necessary;
Turn over all completed and checked paperwork to the Office Manager on a daily basis;
Authorize maintenance on equipment, and report daily to the Operations Manager or Regional Manager;
Delegate shop work in response to Daily Checklists; Authorize overtime for shop repairs; Report daily to Operations Manager.

Key Qualifications

Previous dispatch experience strongly preferred;
1+ year of office administration/reception experience;
Excellent communication skills, handling customers, clients, drivers;
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office related programs.
