What you will do day-to-day:
- Install, troubleshoot & repair a variety of processing & packaging equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs
- Operate & maintain hand and/or power tools
- Work from blueprints, diagrams, hydraulic & electrical schematics & manuals
- Maintain a hazard-free, clean & safe work area
- Provide support to internal departments
- Ensure integrity of paperwork
What skill sets & qualifications we are looking for:
- Able to prioritize & coordinate work
- Be open and flexible to change & take initiative
- Good teamwork & people skills
- A detailed oriented approach to job tasks with strong mechanical aptitude
- An analytical approach to solving problems
- Certification as Journeyman Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or 4th year apprentice & at least 2 years of related experience or a combination of education & related experience
