Unique Contract Interiors is a commercial supplier, manufacturer and installer of restaurant and other hospitality furniture. In business for over 26 years, this family business is looking for a hard working individual who is looking to advance within the company.
Job duties and qualifications are below:
Duties:
-Assist with installs locally & throughout Canada
-Prepare furniture for manufacturing
-Deliver products & interact with clients on site
-Strip old fabric off furniture & re-upholster
-Accept new shipments; organize & put away
-Other general shop duties as needed
Qualifications:
-MUST be familiar with basic power tools
-General understanding of construction is an asset
-Valid class 5 drivers license
-Able to drive a half ton or one ton truck
-Capable of reading and speaking English
-Understanding blueprints considered an asset
-Willing to learn & grow in different roles
-Able to work independently or with others
-MUST be able to communicate well with others
-Able to create a fun work environment
