POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cameco is looking for motivated and ambitious individuals to join our maintenance team at the worlds second largest high grade uranium deposit, located at the Cigar Lake operation in northern Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the electrical/instrumentation foreman, you will assist journeyperson instrumentation technologists with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating and repairing all measurement and control instruments both on surface and underground. Through on the job training and experience you will progress to the journeyperson level.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Two to three year instrumentation engineering technology diploma or equivalent
Obtain journeyperson industrial instrument technician within first 12 months of employment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player with strong computer and organizational skills
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Industrial experience, ideally in a mine setting
