David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Fabrication Sales Manager based in Southern Saskatchewan.

Our client, a leader in the Saskatchewan steel fabrication industry, requires a Fabrication Sales Manager to lead, manage and coach the sales team to achieve annual sales targets. The position is expected to turn leads into sales, maintaining a steady flow of work, maximizing the capacities and meeting/exceeding sales targets.

The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the responsibilities of this position are:

Develops and manages the annual sales plan for the fabrication team to meet required targets, budget constraints, and strategic goals of the Company.
Ensures that sales team members develop and implement their own key account plans for their top accounts.
Aligns sales plans and activities with marketing initiatives.
Maintains open communication with the marketing team to maximize results.
Directs the performance and activities of the fabrication sales team and ensures agreed KPIs and targets meet objectives.
Identifies and assigns training and development programs as needed.
Ensures proper input and maintenance of CRM data by all team members.
Develops pitches for new business.
Performs sales forecasting and reporting for the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Operates within the budget set for the team.
Provides guidance on which jobs to quote based on proximity to site, piece sizes, competition and delivery dates.
Builds and maintains relationships with key customers.

The Ideal Candidate:

Highly organized and detail oriented.
Proven track record of success in sales and top line growth.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Maximize overall imagery of the company.
Strong knowledge of all company products and capabilities.
Capable in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
10% travel required.
