Description

Assists in the development of Safe Work Procedures for manufacturing, maintenance and operational functions.
Maintain accurate training records within the BU and complete Month End Summaries.
Successfully set up and maintain accurate Sub-Contractor training and record keeping.
Event planning for training and/or orientations off site.
Annually update Supervisor and Safety Manuals with relevant material.
Ensure PPE is fully stocked and assist in its delivery.
Participate in the delivery of safety communications and programs to support the Lafarge Health and Safety Management System.
May have to deliver safety related training modules and programs reflective of applicable legislative requirements as well as Lafarge safety policies, procedures and practices.
Identify training needs within the BU and ensure they are in line with the requirements of the health & safety management system.
Develop and maintain a positive and proactive relationship with site management, employees and local regulatory agencies.
Assist in on-site inspections and controls.
Follow-up on audit recommendations to ensure all items have been completed on time and assist with removing any barriers to completion
Other duties as required.
