We are currently hiring for a contract I.T Field Service Technician job in down town Saskatoon,SK. You must have 1-3 years of experience in this role and have a strong knowledge of Windows 7. Experience on Desktop Support, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Hardware Support, and IMAC. POS experience is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate would have good communication skills and be customer friendly. You must have a reliable vehicle and a valid provincial drivers license. The compensation for this position is from $20-$24 hourly.
I.T Field Service Technician job responsibilities:
Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
Supports user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
Train employees, identifies, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
Qualifications:
Entry-level of 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
A+ certification.
Knowledge of commonly-used Technical Support concepts, practices, and procedures.
Desktop, laptop, printer, and server support experience.
POS support skills a plus.
Knowledge of Smart Phones for communication purposes.
