GeoIT specializes in IT/GIS (Geographic Information System) operation and support, application and software development, big data processing and analysis, pipeline engineering drafting and design. We have the business footprints in Saskatchewan, Alberta and overseas in the United States and China. We have almost 20 years experiences serving clients both in public and private sectors.

Our client in Regina, SK has a contract position as Business Analyst starting June 22, 2015 to work a two phased system/application review, comparison and assessment project.

Phase One (to 07/2015)

1.1  Using the requirements matrix (provided) as a reference to determine two alternative systems can be utilized, with the required customizations,

1.2  Using the requirements matrix review at least 2 additional databases for comparison purposes.

1.3  Prepare a spreadsheet or summary of the responses for comparison purposes.  
1.4  Using the requirements matrix, provide an estimate (time and cost +/- 50%) of the work required to build a new custom application
1.5 Identify necessary infrastructure to host recommended application.
1.6  Provide a written report outlining the pros/cons of each existing system as well as a custom build.  

Phase Two ( 09/2015 to 03/2016)

1.1    Assist in the development of the RFP process.
1.2    Participate as part of the evaluation committee to review, score and rank proposals in accordance with the RFP evaluation process.

2.0    QUALIFICATIONS

2.1    A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Business Analyst

2.2    A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Project Manager

2.3    Knowledge of database applications, including the ability to assess real and technical elements

2.4    Able to read and understand technical IT terminology but write in plain language
