Duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Branch Receptionist will be responsible for all reception duties at Yorkton Branch.
Duties include:
- Answering and directing all calls using a multi-line switchboard
- Directing public to appropriate personnel or departments and providing general information as necessary
- Processing incoming and outgoing postal and inter-office mail
- Reviewing applications and distributing permits for the Parking Program for People with Disabilities
- Receipting cheques and cash
- Distributing and maintaining petty cash
- Maintaining inventory and ordering of office supplies
- Preparing and distribution of newsletters
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of business procedures and routines
- Experience with a multi-line switchboard
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, and Publisher programs
- Knowledge/use of various office equipment: photocopier/fax machine, POS equipment, postage meter
- Excellent customer service skills within a fast-paced work environment
- Related office experience - with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with person with disabilities
