JOB SUMMARY:
This position will ensure the availability of manufactured & procured products into Regional Distribution Centers to satisfy regional customer requirements. Working within the Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) group, this position uses a companywide integrated plant scheduling and procurement tool to provide production planning, finished goods procurement, and materials coordination services. The position involves managing of inventory and scheduling of plant functions remotely. The successful candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of procurement and supply chain principles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Purchasing designation or equivalent experience.
Post-Secondary education preferred.
Excellent computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Must be able to perform effectively in a fast paced environment.
A demonstrated track record of effective problem solving and decision making.
