Amec Foster Wheelers Mining business is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant located at our Mosaic Esterhazy project site near Esterhazy, Sk. Reporting to the Manager, Administration and Finance, and the Manager, Construction, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide senior level support on a large scale project. Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative support to the Construction Manager, HSE Manager and Construction Coordinators
Coordinating and complying with requirements of Project Information Management
Performing advanced level work formatting and editing of higher level project documents
Maintaining consistency in project procedures and deadlines
Maintaining knowledge of project status and schedule requirements
Ensuring completion of updates of projects PMP
Coordinating and issuing daily construction reports
Providing general administrative duties; filing, photocopying, faxing, compiling reports, coordinating travel requirements, archiving of files, and other duties as assigned
Coordinating with the client on various administrative functions
All other duties as assigned
Role Requirements
Minimum of 5-7 years of project administrative or secretarial experience in a technical environment
Advanced word processing skills and experience with related software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Access)
Self-starter and able to work independently to complete tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients
Knowledge of engineering terminology and document types/structures would be considered an asset
