Description

The Saskatchewan Intercultural Association has an employment opportunity for an instructor for Stage 1&2 program delivered in Saskatoon. The instructor will be responsible for delivering lessons and relating to clients in the Stage 2 Program.

Minimum required qualifications include:

(a)English as a Second Language education in a
  program recognized by TESL Canada  OR other  
  accreditation from TESL Canada
(b)If suitable candidates with the above  
   qualifications cannot be found, adult ESL or  
   education experience combined with TESL Canada
   membership will also be considered
(c)University Bachelor's Degree
(d)Experience in adult education, preferably with
   ESL learners
(e)Experience in designing and implementing a
   functional language curriculum based on
   Canadian Language Benchmarks
(f)Previous experience in assessing learners
   progress and providing feedback to the learner
(g)Familiarity with the settlement process and
   knowledge of local resources available to
   immigrants.
