Oversees backroom operations ensuring trucks are received and merchandise is either back stocked or distributed to the floor;
Oversees front end operations to ensure customer returns/exchanges and POS transactions are processed accurately;
Monitors, adjusts, and counts all store product inventory to maintain accuracy;
Maintains all systems within the store, ensures proper functioning of store equipment and cleanliness of the facility;
Maintains all servers, computers, kiosks, and registers to ensure proper functioning and accurate processing;
Ensures quality internal customer experience through individualized coaching, training and motivating employees;
Reviews and makes recommendations for process improvement with a focus on efficiencies to maximize retail profit;
Works with Human Resources to ensure effective interviewing, selection, training, staffing, promotion, coaching and discipline of employees;
Ensures schedules are posted and that they reflect the needs of our business, confirming actual hours worked to payroll;
Manages controllable expenses, ensuring that monthly budgets are not exceeded;
Works as a member of the retail management team to ensure management coverage for all store hours;
Ensures that specific departments and areas are compliant with established process and procedures and;
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in business administration or related topic is preferred.
Four or more years of experience in a leadership role in a retail environment.
Extensive knowledge and/or experience in process improvement.
Ability to analyze results and respond effectively and efficiently.
Strong leadership and communication skills with excellent customer service skills.
Proven ability to work in a dynamic, continuous improvement environment.
Firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) or ability to obtain one.
