Description

This position located in Saskatoon and it would be working Monday to Friday.

The compensation for this role is between $65,000 to $70,000 annually.

This customer is in the pipe manufacturing industry of which they are one of the premier companies.

Qualifications:

Our customer is looking for someone with 5-10 years of experience and at least a relevant college diploma. Management and/or supervisory experience along with customer service experience would be an asset. Any experience in Lean or 5S would be preferred.

The standard Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook will be needed in addition to their site specific ERP system. IQMS, Oracle, SAP, and working with ISO certification.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee the quality assurance staff to make sure that goals of the company are met. As a supervisor you would be responsible for the hiring and managing of employees that work for you. You would need to work with the plant to maintain company standards. Interacting with internal and external customers to deal with any issues would be a part of this role as well. As the supervisor you would be involved in the health and safety training for the company. Cost purchasing for supplies and services for the Quality Assurance program is also required.
