Job Posting - CUPE Educational Assistant
Temporary Full Time (1.0 FTE -30 hours/week)

Dates: September 1, 2015 up to and including June 28, 2016

Desired Qualifications:
- Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
- Ability and experience in working with children with behavioral and compliance issues
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
- A positive and flexible attitude to change

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
- Based on needs of individual student, effectively carry out highly structured behavior plan
- Willingness to work one-on-one with students in both the classroom and isolated settings
- Working closely with counselor, classroom teacher and student services teacher
