The worker will provide a constructive, supervised summer program for the children of women staying at the Transition House. This will be accomplished by organizing group or solitary activities which may include sports, picnics, crafts, swimming, the library etc. Where possible, the worker will include children who have left the shelter and integrate them into ongoing community recreational activities.
The worker will be responsible to research and develop potential activities including but not limited to the aforementioned. He/she will be required to transport children to and from activities.
