Description

Gehl Ranch is a modern cattle operation located 4 miles from the family-friendly community of Hodgeville Sask.

We currently have an immediate vacancy for a full time / permanent cattle herdsmen responsible for the care and management of our herd of 700 cow/calf pairs and 500 bred heifer yearlings.

Duties will include feed management, calving, identifying & treating cattle health problems, operating farm machinery and general farm duties as required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years related experience with beef cattle.
Must be able and willing to take instructions and work on their own.
Must be willing to work long hours during calving time and haying time.
A Class 1A license is an asset.

A modern, 3-bedroom house is available to live in.
