NORTEP/NORPAC Is accepting applications for Tutor/Instructor
Working under the direction of the President CEO or academic designate, the Tutor/Instructor is responsible for the planning, preparation, and instruction of specific EPS courses and the evaluation of student?s work. This position will involve team-teaching with NORTEP/NORPAC Faculty and tutoring students in English and Arts courses. The related activities include working closely with faculty and students in facilitating an academic environment that honours and respects the growing cultural diversity in northern Saskatchewan.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will possess:
. At minimum an undergraduate degree with a Master's degree preferred.
. Previous teaching experience at the K-12 level and/or experience teaching at the university
level is an asset.
. Knowledge of northern Saskatchewan communities and schools is desired.
. Strong organizational skills, communication skills and writing skills.
. Willing to work flexible hours.
. Ability to speak a northern Aboriginal language is an asset.
. Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) is needed.
Term: Full time term position from August 10, 2015 to April 30, 2016 with a possibility of extension
Starting Date: August 10, 2015 *The starting date may be negotiable.
