Job Summary:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the case management of 18 long-term care residents and provide nursing service to a small outpatient population. The Loon Lake health Centre provides lab and x-ray service to the public and hosts a medical clinic. It is located in the Village of Loon Lake which is a community of 390 residents located between beautiful lakes, farmland and the lush boreal forest in Northwest Saskatchewan. It is adjacent to the Makwa Lake Provincial Park, Steele Narrows Provincial Park, the Bronson Forest Recreation Site, the Ministikwin First Nation Reserve, and the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation Reserve.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)

In an effort to recruit and retain health employees, Prairie North Health Region is offering a package to individuals who have completed training.
