Based out of Regina, Saskatchewan, the primary role of the Sales Manager will be to manage the rail sales team and ensure strong customer relationships with the goal of maximizing the sales of Brandt rail equipment to achieve and exceed annual sales volume and gross margin targets.
The Sales Managers key tasks include but are not limited to managing and leading a team of sales personnel, managing all aspects of the sale of rail equipment and services to customers, establishing strong relationships with key customers, working with Brandts engineering team and project managers to provide rail equipment solutions to our customers, working with the marketing team to promote product and brand awareness with rail customers, assisting the sales team in preparing presentations and proposals for customers, and leading the Rail division at industry trade shows. Travel will be required.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and self-directed individual who will have at least 5 years sales or customer service experience in the rail industry. We are looking for someone who is a strategic thinker and is mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Applicants must have a proven track record of leading and motivating employees as well as have a positive attitude, excellent communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
