Job Summary:
The Primary Health Care Clinic Office Coordinator is responsible for coordination and management of operations in a patient centered, interdisciplinary Primary Health Care setting. The position is responsible for ensuring confidentiality of information in accordance with regional and provincial standards.
The position works in a Primary Health Care Clinic setting to provide a high quality patient experience. The Primary Health Care Office Coordinator must be able to work in an interdisciplinary team environment and meet the demands of a Primary Health Care Clinic.
The Coordinator is required to implement Primary Health Care Initiatives as required. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage staff are required. The position will be required to assume and oversee Physician Billing responsibilities.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Office Manager or equivalent in a Clinic Setting
Required Qualifications:
Two (2) year Diploma from a recognized diploma program in business/office procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge and skill in Physician Billing Process
Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and leadership skills
Strong problem solving skills
Computer skills in Word Processing and the electronic medical record
Ability to make quick and accurate daily decisions
