Canpotex, the world's premier potash exporter, is a marketing and logistics company owned by Saskatchewans potash producers: Agrium, Mosaic and PotashCorp. We are currently seeking an Accountant, Terminals for a two-year term in our Finance & Accounting department, based in our Saskatoon office.

This position is responsible for Canpotex terminal operations accounting and cost reporting including preparing regular financial statements, year-end audit files, management reports and financial analysis as well as monitoring and coordinating all financial activities for Portland Bulk Terminals L.L.C. The incumbent requires exceptional interpersonal skills as they would work very closely with those internal and external to the organization while completing these duties.  

The person we are looking for has:
Post-secondary education equivalent to 3rd or 4th level CMA/CGA or CPA program or higher coupled with several years related experience.  
Ability to reconcile and analyze accounts
Knowledge of accounting principles and techniques.  
Ability to research, analyze and prepare recommendations regarding accounting issues
Sound knowledge and proven experience with computerized systems and Microsoft Office programs.  
Excellent interpersonal skills
