We are accepting applications for the 2015 Harvest Season which runs from August until October. We have three positions available.
Duties will vary depending on the time period - will include operation of farm equipment such as sprayer, swather, grain cart, tractor, and semi/trailer. Other tasks include equipment maintenance and upkeep.
Possberg Grain Farms / Parkland Ventures is located 12 miles north of Humboldt, SK; and all related duties will be within a 60 mile vicinity of the business headquarters.
Applicants are required to have a valid class 5 drivers licence. Preference will be given to those with a class 1A licence and those with experience with operating agriculture equipment.
Work hours will vary depending on weather conditions and maturity of crop. Prior to harvest typical hours will be from 8am to 5pm - Monday through Friday. During spraying and harvest operations, hours can range between 12-16 hours per day.
