POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the project delivery office in the major projects department, you will be reporting to the manager, estimating.  

You will be responsible for capital cost estimation conforming to corporate process and procedures.  In addition, you will validate and review third party estimates in conformance with Camecos estimation standards.  With a focus on continuous improvement, you will be proactive in studying industry best practices and introduce improved methodologies and standards.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Bachelors degree in commerce, science, engineering or mathematics
    Four to eight years of relevant work experience
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Assets:
    Experience in project cost control function from an owners perspective
    Certification with the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) or registration as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified General Accountant (CGA)
