Description

Edge Transportation Services Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Customer Service Manager for their Saskatoon, SK location.

Responsibilities
    Oversee Customer Service/ Inside Sale Representatives productivity and results
    Review operational capacity and lane requirements
    Review Revenue Analysis Report, RPM by lane/equipment type
    Formulate a sales strategy to optimize both utilization and revenue quality
    Profile commodity groups and potential customers to support company goals
    Provide direction and execute customer tele-solicitation for the opportunity to quote and secure new business
    Provide direction to capture customer needs and oversee the pricing and presentation of rate submissions
    Ensure customer profiles and load sheets capture the necessary details to enhance customer service performance
    Evaluate the business KPIs to ensure the execution of the plan is yielding the desired outcome
    Respond to customer enquires
    Evaluate weekly/monthly reposts to ensure adherence to the plan, correct invoicing, accessorial billing, etc.
    Conduct face to face customer meetings when the potential business opportunity requires it

Qualifications
    University degree or equivalent experience in the Transportation Industry may be considered, or a combination
    Strong understanding of all freight that is moved Over the Road, particularly deck freight
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Strong mathematical and statistical skills
    Strong analytical and computer skills
    Solid problem solving skills and a solution based skill set with be an asset
