Homewood Health is looking for a staff clinician to join our EFAP team and help improve the lives and well-being of employees, their family members and the companies they work for.
This is a fast paced role that will provide experience with diverse clinical cases and give the successful candidate the opportunity to grow and develop within a well-established organization.
This position will be located in our Saskatoon office.
Main responsibilities:
Deliver EFAP services including confidential counselling, case management, direct clinical services, assessments, crisis management services
Receive case assignments, establishes treatment plans, and completes case progress notes through the Clinical Manager.
Develop service plans which outline a specific plan of action with each client under periodical supervision
Complete a comprehensive psycho-social assessment on clients as needed
Participate in in-house training as required
Receive crisis calls from the Client Services Center as required
Periodically provide after-hours crisis calls services
Lead workshops as required and where personal competencies and time allows
Qualifications:
Masters or PhD in Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent
Must hold valid registration with Saskatchewan governing body and be a member in good standing
Minimum 5 years counselling experience
Experience in brief solution-oriented counselling
Beneficial if knowledge of assessment, crisis management, and EFAP services
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written - French skills would be an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office & Outlook (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
