Description

WAJAX EQUIPMENT

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service
Process parts orders for internal and external customers, including entering, ordering and expediting purchase orders.
Process branch orders.
Receive special parts requests.
Research parts, including searching parts manuals.
Source parts.
Specify suitable alternate recommendations.
Contact customers to confirm orders and request additional information as required.
Handle customer inquiries and issues.
Process customer returns.
Provide product support.
Conduct parts sales and follow up calls.
Visit customer sites to monitor consignment inventories if required.
Vendor
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors.
Source other vendors as required.
Expedite vendor order and shipments.
Maintain vendor list up-to-date.

Pricing
Prepare estimates including those for shop and road services.
Assist with developing and communicating quotes either internally or to customers.
Obtain freight quotes.
Discuss special pricing requests with Management.

Inventory
Monitor backorders.
Coordinate with Inventory to place parts orders.

Shipping and Receiving
Conduct shipping and receiving duties as required.
Package orders.
Conduct branch transfers.
Track shipments.
