Crestline is seeking a Customer Service Field Technician to join the team.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Follow Up
Interact with customers, associates and dealers in a friendly and professional manner to cultivate and maintain excellent long-term customer relationships
Travel throughout Western Canada and other locations if necessary to assist with customer service issues, diagnosing issues, and coordinating and/or repairing issues
Handle service, warranty and parts calls, and if needed provide coverage for other customer service representatives
Prepare service and parts quotes and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
Coordinate with service centres to get service work completed as needed in a timely manner and on budget
Travel to key accounts on a regular basis as determined by the Customer Service Manager and if
Administration
Process sales and warranty calls in SAP
Approve, enter and file repair invoices within authorization limits
Initiate reports on customer problems and issues
Ensure accurate recording of facts in regard to customer service issues
Prepare, submit and track warranty claims and parts returns to suppliers
Technical Skills/Competencies (technical knowledge, education and experience):
Grade 12
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in customer service and parts sales
Knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, automotive electrical systems, and experience with wheel chair lifts an asset
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, system schematics, parts, and maintenance manuals
Ability to provide clear and concise information to ensure the customer understands
