David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk based in Saskatoon.
The successful candidate will have experience in Sage Accpac with good Microsoft Excel knowledge and will be comfortable handling vendor calls and emails on a daily basis. Due to tight deadlines, we require someone who can maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure.
The Role:
Code and enter invoices into Accpac
Code and enter Corporate Expenses into Excel and Accpac
Generate cheque runs for the entire company (approximately twice a month)
Generate EFT payments for the entire company; expenses and subcontractor payments are on opposing weeks
Manage entire company's utility bills to ensure they are paid in a timely manner
Reconcile vendor statements each month
Filing as required
Interact with vendors and co-workers (purchasing, sales, maintenance, etc.)
The Candidate:
Diploma or other formal training in Accounting
Two (2)+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Detail oriented
Data-entry speed of over 10,000 kph
Experience with Sage Accpac
