This is an exciting time for RANA as we are expanding our oxygen services to Saskatchewan. We are actively recruiting for the full-time, permanent position of Home Oxygen Therapist in Saskatoon.
As a Home Oxygen Therapist, you will be working with clients (patients) in the community who are living with chronic respiratory diseases. You will use your skills and abilities to enhance our clients quality of life and provide mobility oxygen options. Note that this is primarily a Monday to Friday daytime position, but evening and weekend on-call is required.
Primary Duties
Provide home oxygen services to clients including respiratory assessments, equipment installations, safety training, as well as ongoing scheduled and unscheduled services
Collect and submit documentation to Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living
Liaise with clients, physicians and health care providers
Promote RANA through community marketing activities
Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse
Class 5 drivers license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Strong organization skills
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
High level of interpersonal written and verbal communication
Effective problem-solving ability
Availability for after hours and weekend on-call rotations
