Job Summary:
The Clinical Resource Nurse (CNE) is accountable for providing clinical education, participation in policy development and consultation at site-specific and regional levels in PNHR. The CNE will collaborate with Directors, managers, Point-of-Care staff and other CNE's in the assessment of staff learning needs, delivery of a regional nursing orientation and provision of specific education/in-services.
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years experience in a primary CNE area of practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)-Level C Health Care Provider (HCP)-Heart & Stroke
Current CPR Certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Registered or Eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Leadership skills
Additional Text:
Maintains certification and instructor certification for education/training programs identified by the facility/region as priority.
This is a regional position currently based out of Meadow Lake.
