Description

Water Polo Saskatchewan is seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual who will assume the position of Assistant Provincial Coach, North Saskatchewan. This individual will be contracted to perform the duties of Head Coach of the Saskatoon Water Polo Club and Assistant Provincial Coach. The candidate will work closely with the Executive Director of Water Polo Saskatchewan and other staff/contractors.
Duties will include:
Develop and provide technical coaching support for the Saskatoon Water Polo Club
Develop new clubs in Northern Saskatchewan, including summer technical clinics
Lead and supervise Provincial Competitions and Leagues
Lead Development Centre and High Performance Centre in Saskatoon.
Lead the Provincial Development Team Program in Saskatchewan: identify the 11-14 years old athletes, set up and lead the training camps, select and lead coaches, lead competition of Team Sask 12U and 14U, both genders.
Provide administrative support
Candidates should have:
High performance coaching experience or a strong background in high performance water polo
Strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
An ability to work well as part of a team
