Preston Early Learning(PEL)is currently accepting applications for Full & 3/4time Preschool Teachers for 2015-2016 school year.

The Preschools are programs that are part of the new Willowgrove /Holy Family School. The Preschools will operate from Sept 2015-June 2016

PEL is looking for energetic Teachers that are looking for a new challenge in a dynamic preschool program for children ages 3-5 years.

PEL will follow the Play & Exploration curriculum therefore knowledge of Play & Exploration is critical in providing an exemplary program.

The purpose of the Preschool Program is to promote the physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth of preschool children ages 3-5.
This will be accomplished through the Play & Exploration curriculum planned with the following goals in mind:
       * Increase independence
       * Enhance a sense of belonging, self-worth, and acceptance
       * Develop literacy and communication
       * Support age appropriate development (physical, cognitive,      emotional, social & spiritual)
        *Increase the childs view of themselves as capable and competent learners
       * Develop stronger relationships with peers, adults and parents
       * Provide a seamless day for children
       * Engage in community partnerships for easy transition to school

Candidates profile:
-  Candidate must be able to develop and implement preschool curriculum for children age 3-5.
- Early Childhood Education Level 3 or a Bachelor of Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood
- knowledge & experience with the Play & Exploration Model
- Clear criminal background supported by a recent police check, and clear vulnerable persons screen.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Expected start date would be August 27th, 2015, with a ten month contract.
