Summer Student JobUnder the general supervision of the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, the Summer Student will assist with:
-preparing and distributing medications for use throughout Victoria Hospital and PIHC
-dispensing medication
-gathering stats, preparing graphs and preparing presentations
-auditing clinical services as needed (dependent on year of completion of pharmacy program)
-preparing Pharmacy department newsletters and educational displays
You must:
-be able to communicate clearly and effectively in written English
Required Qualifications:
-must be enrolled in secondary education (accredited pharmacy degree program is preferred)
-must be returning to secondary education in the fall
-basic computer skills (excel spreadsheets & graphing; power point)
-must be able to use pharmacy concepts and standards in varied situations
-must be able to work collaboratively in small teams
