David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a well-established company, to recruit an Administrative Assistant.
The ideal Project Administrator will be expected to provide administrative assistance to the Project manager and their team. Responsibilities include; formatting and editing Project documents memos, faxes, detailed meeting minutes, reports, manuals, and specifications. Must be extremely organized, detailed, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the project team members and perform various administrative functions, as required.
The Role:
Provide administrative assistance to the project manager and the team
Assist in maintaining project delivery procedures and deadlines
Preparing spreadsheets, maintaining databases, and coordinating updates and reports as required
Maintain awareness of the project status and scheduling requirements
Scheduling and coordinating meetings and travel, as required
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous project administrative experience
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel, and Access, Adobe, Microsoft project, Sharepoint, and Visio
Experience in fast-paced, deadline driven environment
A results-oriented personality with the ability to take initiative
