Duties:
The Maintenance Worker assists skilled tradespersons and performs labouring activities and provides assistance in the various building trades areas.

Qualifications:
A valid drivers licence is required
A minimum of Grade 10 from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED) is required
A minimum of three (3) years experience in the construction industries or building trades is required
Ability to perform flooring, painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and lock-smith etc. is required.
A working knowledge of computers is required
Able to operate grass, snow and earth moving equipment
Ability to safely operate all stationary shop tools, hand held power tools and other maintenance equipment is required
Physical Requirements:
The ability to do heavy work is required (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects). Ability to work at heights with lifts, scaffolds, and ladders is required. Ability to operate in crawl spaces is required.
