Description

Prairie Branches Enterprises Inc. is a not-for-profit organization offering support to adults with intellectual and or physical disabilities in the Biggar/Unity/Wilkie areas. We currently are accepting applications for 1 contractual maintenance assistant position in Unity, SK

Responsibilities

1.Monitor maintenance status at both Unity Homes weekly
2.Complete repair tasks as reported at both Unity Homes
3.Check safety equipment at both Unity Homes weekly
4.Check Water Softener Salt at both Unity Homes weekly and add as needed
5.Perform weekly maintenance checks as instructed
6.Report any problems or needed repairs to the Operations Manager
7.Record ongoing safety equipment checks on the necessary form
8.Take training as needed
9.Check Homes for hazards (fire, health, etc) during each shift and inform incoming staff and Management, if warranted, of any issues or concerns
10.Move and set up furniture and equipment
11.Mow and trim the lawns at all facilities using the agencys lawn mower and trimmer
12.Keep all facilities free of snow using the Agencys snow blower and keep the sidewalks clear of snow and salted
13.Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

1.Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers license and vehicle
2.Must provide a Criminal Record Check prior to employment
3.Be available to respond to emergency needs as required
