Description

Ceres Global Ag Corp is a grain origination and trading company operating terminals in North America. We are also a logistics company operating a newly developed multiproduct Logistics Centre in Northgate, SK.
This position, located in Northgate, is responsible for providing oversight, guidance and technical support in the development and implementation of an EHS&S Excellence culture for our operations.
Responsibilities:
-Provides leadership and collaborates with management in the implementation of Company EHS & Security policies, standards and training requirements.  Evaluates safety, occupational health, compliance, environmental and security management performance of business operations
-Provides direction to senior management in the development and implementation of proactive safety, occupational health, environmental and transportation compliance practices
- Coordinates EHS & Security and compliance audits
- Provides leadership in emergency response efforts, emergency response training drills, and the development of emergency response plans
-Must be able to work and communicate effectively at all levels of an organization

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.  Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential
- Outstanding relationship building capabilities and a collaborative working style
- A strong team player with superior organizational and project management skills
- Strong work ethic, high level of enthusiasm and ability to excel in a flexible, fast-paced environment
- Taking initiative and having a passion for positive results

Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in an EHS&S role
- Thorough knowledge of all relevant Federal and Provincial EHS legislation and associated regulations, including DOT, HazMat, OSHA and Canada Environment. Canadian and US Customs and Border Protection compliance knowledge will be an asset.
