The Yorkton Tribal Council is seeking one (1) highly motivated individual for Human Resources Clerk/Executive Assistant.Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Human Resources Clerk/Executive Assistant position is responsible for providing executive level confidential administrative support.
Coordinate the organizing of the YTC General Assemblies, the YTC Chiefs Council meetings and YTC Treasury Board meetings by being responsible for preparing and ensuring the meeting notices are distributed to the appropriate participants, arranging the meeting logistics, communicating with the participants and prepare the meeting kits
Ensure motions for meetings are completed for the YTC General Assemblies, Chiefs Council meetings, and Treasury Board meetings
Record meeting Record of Discussion/Decision
Communicate discussions and/or decisions to appropriate YTC staff and/or leadership groups
Provide advice and assistance to YTC management on staff recruitment and selection
Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations
Prepare, develop and implement procedures and policies related to staff recruitment
Maintain up-to-date electronic and hard-copy filing system for the YTC Tribal Chief, including the proper storage and filing of meeting minutes in accordance with established office procedures
Maintain daily itinerary for the YTC Tribal Chief and the YTC Director of Operations, including meeting notices and other invitations
Process cheque requisitions and purchase orders for meetings as required in accordance with the YTC Financial Management Act and YTC financial policies
Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay and benefits systems
Manage and maintain confidential personnel files
Coordinate event planning as it relates to the office of the YTC Tribal Chief and administration
Organize staff training sessions, workshops and activities
Schedule, organize and facilitate interviews
