Description

Reporting to the Power Engineer Supervisor, this position is responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities include:  
-Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all boilers and auxiliary equipment in the Utilities Plant, Crystallization Plant, and Ferric Plant.  
-The Chief Power Engineer or Power Engineer supervisor will assign other duties as required.


Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
-Preference will be given to Resident of Saskatchewans North (RSN)
-Grade 12 diploma
-Ability to complete the Test of Workplace
-Essential Skills (TOWES) with a desired profile of 3-3-3 in the areas of Reading, Comprehension, Document Use and Numeracy
-Preference will be given to those who have completed grade 12 math and physics courses
-Ability to lift 50lbs and work in higher than normal heat conditions (up to 40C)
-Excellent record keeping skills

Work Location & Schedule:  McClean Lake 7 in / 7 out  77 hours/week

Pick-Up Points:    Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Camsel Portage, Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Wollaston
