Summer Student JobWe are currently accepting applications for a Summer Student. This student must be returning to post-secondary school full time in Fall 2012. Responsible for planning and implementing activites for Infant, Toddler, Preschool & School Age children. Would like successful applicant to start in May or June depending on when classes end.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
Additional Skills
- Assist in housekeeping duties
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
Work Setting
- Day-care centre

Security and Safety
- Criminal record check (abstract)
- Child abuse registry check
- Tuberculosis test
