Hours of Work:
In a 1 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours

Job Summary:
  The Executive Secretary is accountable for the provision of shared receptionist and secretarial support services necessary for the effective and efficient administrative operations of the Prairie North Health Region Corporate Office.  The incumbent is also responsible for secretarial services to the Vice President of Integrated health Services and the Vice President of Primary health Services.  This is done by effectively and efficiently providing prompt, professional secretarial services (including all matters of a confidential nature) in an ever-changing environment, consistent with established policies, procedures and objectives.

Experience:
  Minimum of three (3) years experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  Experience with setting agendas and recording minutes is required
  Experience with supporting and coordinating project work is a definite asset

Required Qualifications:
  Certificate from a recognized Business School

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  Excellent computer skills- including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Visio, and Excel
  Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm
  Communication skills
  Interpersonal skills
  Organizational skills
  Knowledge regarding current office procedures and practices
  Detail-oriented and reliable
  Ability to work independently
  Ability to prioritize a demanding workload and focus on multiple tasks

Additional Text:
  Preference will be given to those candidates who have knowledge of the provincial health care system.
